FG Reinstates UNILAG Vice Chancellor, Toyin Ogundipe
 

There are reports that the suspended Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, has been reinstated.

Sources revealed that Prof.Toyin Ogundipe has  been reinstated by the Visitor Muhammadu Buhari and that he was also investigated and exonerated of financial misappropriation as accused by the Pro Chancellor Dr. Wale Babalakin SAN. 

Reports has it that President Muhammadu Buhari, the Visitor will now appoint new Pro Chancellor for the First Choice University.

Before this, President Muhammadu Buhari, as visitor to the University had removed Prof. Theophilus Soyombo, the Acting Vice Chancellor appointed by Babalakin and appointed Prof Folashade Ogunsola to act as the VC pending the report of the visitation committee.

Wale Babalakin had also resigned on 17th of September 2020 days after he was suspended with the Vice Chancellor for external investigation.
