One of the 121 students of Bethel Baptist High School, in Kaduna State, who was abducted alongside his colleagues on July 5, 2021, has allegedly refused to return to his family, after several efforts to free him from captivity.

It was gathered that the bandits were showering the boy who is said to be the youngest of all the abducted students with gifts each time they went out and come back from operations, thereby, making him reject the offer of freedom.

It was also reported that the bandits had on several occasions asked the student to go home, but he always rejected the offer, saying his parents always beat him at home.

I20 of the abducted students have all regained their freedom more than 6-months after their abduction, leaving behind one person who has now decided to be with the bandits rather than return home to his family.
