JAMB Postpones 2021 UTME Mock Examination, Announces New Date

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has postponed the 2021 mock exam earlier scheduled to hold April 30th.

According to a statement by JAMB’s head of media, Fabian Benjamin, the mock will now hold on May 20th 2021.

According to him, this change is a result of some ongoing adjustments in the Board’s operational processes. Candidates who have registered and have indicated interest to take the mock are to note this change of date.

However, the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination fixed for 5th to 19th June 2021 still remains unchanged while the ongoing registration ends May 15th.

The Board also noted that some candidates are sending their details for the creation of profile codes wrongly. The right process is to send the word “NIN” followed by a space and the eleven digits NIN number to 55019.

Candidates are to also note that only the SIM that is linked to candidates’ NIN can be used to send the NIN to 55019.
