Tragedy strikes as two final-year students of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku dies in a car accident on their way to their convocation ceremony.
Based on reports, the two students identified as Annabel Ogaga Akpofure and Oke Melissa died in the accident which reportedly involved a tricycle and a Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) car.
However, AllNews reported that about five final year students of the institution also died in the same accident.

Confirming the incident, the Delta State Police spokesperson, Onome Onovwakpoyeya on Wednesday revealed that the female students died immediately while a male, who was unconscious, died on Sunday, November 15.
Onovwakpoyeya further confirmed that the students were laid to rest on Tuesday, November 17 in their respective hometowns.
